A university teacher since 1998, Claudia Ricci has worked as a professional writer for national, local and regional newspapers, magazines and journals. She has published two novels and many works of short fiction, and edits a community literary blog.

I have published two novels, Dreaming Maples and Seeing Red, and many short stories. I teach both fiction and non-fiction writing and offer a full range of editing services to help doctoral students complete their dissertations.
A full-time faculty member at the University at Albany, SUNY since 1998, I spent a sabbatical year teaching at Georgetown University. I have developed innovative courses in literature, creative writing, happiness and the changing face of journalism. I love being in the classroom, helping students transform their lives through writing!
